Not a screen recorder.A production assistant.
A video editor that plans the video and cuts the silences for you.
- Plans it with you
- Retakes one section
- Keeps every take
- Cuts the silences
Before you press record
Easily plan your video series.
You can always just hit record. But serious creators plan the whole series first. Outline each video as sections, use AI as needed to help you plan it, and record it one section at a time.
Plan.
Start a series, then paste a link, drop in a PDF, or type your notes. The AI turns them into numbered sections, each with its own script and a planned length.
Record.
One shortcut brings up the Ready screen from any app. Pick a display, a window or a cabled iPhone, and the take starts on a 3-2-1. Each section is its own take, so a mistake costs you one section, not the whole video.
⌘⇧Rworks from any app
Stop.
The editor opens with your sections already in order and the silences already cut. Trim, split, save.
About the AI: planning runs on your own OpenRouter key, so OpenRouter bills you for what you use — not us. No key? Write the plan yourself; everything else works the same.
While you record
Got one part wrong? Retake just that section.
Restart without stopping
Said it wrong? Restart the section on a 3-2-1 and say it again. The recording keeps going.
Retake half a section
Split a section and retake only the half that went wrong. The good half stays.
Every take kept
Nothing is overwritten. The take you replaced stays in the history, one ⌘Z away.
With most screen recorders, one mistake means recording the whole video again.
When you press stop
By the time you stop, the first edit is done.
The silence before your first word and after your last is cut, long pauses are shortened, and the editor tells you how many seconds came out. Don’t like a cut? Undo All puts every second back.
Start and end trimmed
The seconds spent reaching for the mouse at the start and for Stop at the end — gone.
Long pauses shortened
Long pauses get shorter, not removed, so you still sound natural.
Captions written
Your words become captions on your Mac, in English — burned in, and editable line by line.
Tidy-up runs on every Mac it supports, and turns off in Settings. Cutting “um”s and writing captions work in English only.
The look
Professionally touch up your video.
Set the stage once, save it as a template, and start the next video from it.
Background
Twelve wallpapers, your own gradient, a colour or an image — with padding around the screen.
Camera
A corner bubble, side by side, or full frame. Circle, rounded or square. A different layout for each section if the story needs it.
Cursor zoom
Follows your pointer, zooms in on clicks, or stays close. Anywhere from 1.5× to 3×.
Every shape in one save
16:9, square, 4:5 and more, written one after another, from 720p to 4K.
Redaction
Hide personal information.
When you stop, Prodoozie reads the take on your Mac and blurs the names, email addresses, card numbers, keys and links it finds. To hide anything else, right-click the frame, choose Hide an Area, and draw over it. Everything hidden holds through zoom, crops and cuts, and in every shape you save.
- Blur
- Solid
- Pixelate
Checked before you save.
Before a file is saved, you see the first and last frame of every hidden stretch — exactly what the viewer will see.
It reads only inside your windows and can miss small, faint or fast-moving text, so look before you share. A box you draw stays where you put it; it doesn’t follow scrolling. Pixelate can be reversed; blur and solid can’t.
Under the hood
It doesn’t lose the take.
A crash, a full disk or a pop-up banner won’t cost you a take.
- Crash-safe
- Your footage is saved as you record. If the Mac crashes, the take is offered back when you reopen the app.
- Low on space
- It stops and saves before your disk fills up.
- No banners
- Notification banners stay out of full-screen recordings.
- Your Mac's sound
- Microphone and system audio, with no audio driver to install.
- Sources
- Record one display, one window, or a cabled iPhone or iPad. Or drop in a video, a picture or a GIF as a section of its own.
- Native, private
- A Mac app for macOS 26 (Tahoe) or later on Apple Silicon. No account, no telemetry. Records offline.
